These words just came out of me one day. If I had to pinpoint the inspiration, it might have to do with my iPod touch being water damaged….

Can’t Tell Me A Thing by Jemar Souza

Some lessons,
Are not worth learning;

So when they face me,
My back starts turning.

I hear a sermon -
Convince myself it’s serpent,

And take my chances,
‘Cause only death is certain.

That may be deep;

But trust,
I go deeper.

Avoiding sleep,
Though she tells me I need her;

‘Cause I despise dreams.

Yes,
I really hate dreams.

Dreams are hidden lessons;
And I’m still on the theme.

Ignorance is bliss.
There’s no better than this.

I believe in me,

Me -
Who you can’t tell a thing.
