I love you -

As first and foremost
A dear friend,

While enjoying extra perks;
…and wish, of course,

They shouldn’t
Have to end.

But honestly,
Perfection,
Is something
We are not -

Perhaps,
Just not yet,

As we can try to make it work,

But “try”,
Is foreshadowing
The stress.

So I think that we should stop,
And let this time
Be the last -

Let this story
Fade away,
As it runs away
With past.

That way,
When I find myself
With the one -

We’ll crown as such -

This story,
Is history,

And though with her,
With you,

She won’t fear much.
