Wise Words are knowledge and tips from people working in the arts and entertainment industry. But they won’t just give me advice, they’ll also provide some to themselves. These words are from Compton’s own, H.O.P.E. Enjoy and learn something.

Pay attention to Everything.
We all for the most part long for the days of old when we were young with little to no worries, only the burden of being young. The thing I’ve noticed is that when we were young we did two things everyday: Learn and Laugh. Everything was new. Before we thought we knew everything we were open to everything in our young world. And on top of that we laughed at everything, no matter how stupid; we really LOL-ed. Do that now that we’re older. Notice, Point, Learn and Laugh.
I need to stay solid and never jeopardize the big picture for the moment’s flash. I got it in my head that I’m living for my funeral. I’m building my legacy every minute of everyday, and these days are flying by. My little son even notices. One day when I was trying to teach him something, he told me, “Life ain’t long Daddy, it’s fast”. That always stuck with me. To me that was his way of reminding me to seize the moment and be cognisant of every foot print I leave behind. Carpe Diem from a Pre-Schooler. Ha!
H.O.P.E. Wright is a Street Poetic, American Rapper, LA Charmer, and Compton Bad Ass. He’s worked with artists like Ryan Leslie, DJ Sourmilk, Mickey Factz, U-N-I, Jhene Aiko, Kevin Cossom, and more. But to him, what he’s accomplished is small potatoes compared to everything that’s on his ‘To-Do’ list.
Currently, H.O.P.E has A NaS themed Mixtape entitled Sincere: The NaSTape due out September 29th; and it will be followed by Believe In Hope Wright, late October.
Mr. Wright is randomly obsessed with black socks, and thinks white socks lack ambition. He claims you will never find his feet in a pair of whites, ever! He’s also a fan of Fashiontoast, and battled Will.I.Am at a random 7/11 about a year ago. While in line, they rapped about a cover of a Maxim magazine; and then they stepped to the side to finish up. Shiiit, I got next.
