Relationships get you in the door, your talent is what keeps you there. Be flexible.
In any project there will be numerous people you like and occasionally someone you don’t like. Regardless, it’s not about how well you work with people you like, it’s about how well you work with people you don’t necessary like. Nothing in the music industry or business is personal, always remain professional. Stick to your word.
I think I need to be more vocal about the fact that I produce, write and play music. If you asked most of my family or friends what I do, their first answer would probably be “He DJ’s”.
Ibe is a music producer and songwriter from NYC and Maryland. He’s worked with several up coming artists including: Mickey Factz, Jade<3, Chris Faust (Print), and Outasight; and he is now also working with Faith Evans on her new album.
He is also obsessed with films by Stanley Kubrick, Akira Kurusawa and Alfred Hitchcock.
